Ellis County Little Ways of Charity asked its Facebook members to donate baked items to generate funds needed to our 501(c)(3) application fees. We exceeded our fundraising goal!
Ellis County Little Ways of Charity coordinated the gathering of prom dresses, shoes, makeup, perfume, and other accessories and made them available to students in need - all free of charge. Cosmetologists, make-up artists, and a photographer donated their services to create a memorable event for those who attended.
August 2019 Back-To-School Give Away
Our Back-To-School Give Away was held on August 10, 2019 at the Country Lane Senior Center. Thanks to the generous support of the community, Ellis County Little Ways of Charity took in over $1,000 worth of donated school supplies which were distributed to over 40 children! Volunteers also took back-to-school pictures as well as helping kids start the school year with free haircuts.
Christmas gifts for a whopping 97 children were collected and given out between October and December, 2019. Thank you to the generous folks who participated in this yearly event. Our families were super thankful and we couldn't have done it with out a lot of community support!
